Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF)
SCQF stands for the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework and is a way of comparing the different qualifications offered both in and outwith schools. Most people know about National 4s, National 5s, Highers and Advanced Highers but other courses are also offered like NPA’s such as Photography or Cyber Security and Skills for Work courses like Health sector.
Ullapool High School is a Silver SCQF Ambassador School. Our SCQF ambassadors aim to educate students, parents and staff about these other courses. This means that all students can take classes that they will enjoy and be aware of a wider range of option choices.
