Our primary goal is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and the practical and meta skills required in the world of work. We believe that by providing students with a holistic and well-rounded education that extends beyond the classroom, we can empower them to pursue their ambitions.
Through a variety of engaging and hands-on experiences, workplace visits, careers fairs and formal work experience placements, all in collaboration with local businesses, we aim to nurture a generation of skilled and adaptable individuals ready to face the challenges of the modern workforce.
Ullapool’s Developing the Young Workforce programme is delivered through DYW West Highland and Lochaber Chamber of Commerce. Our DYW School Coordinator is Neil Lebeter, who is in school on a Wednesday and Thursday. Neil can be reached on neil.lebeter@lochaberchamber.org
